The Real Liberal Agenda
By Demosthenes | November 17, 2008
In the liberal mind, there is something fundamentally flawed with a system that allows some to succeed while others do not–even if the ones that succeed work harder and risk more for that success.
The image above came from ThePeoplesCube.com.
Once we realize that the liberal approach to taxation has nothing to do with promoting a healthy economy, we will be able to tackle the real problem. While they claim this is the way to a growing economy, their real agenda is to even the playing field, so that there are fewer “have nots,” and fewer “have mores.” While this is an admirable goal, it reeks of socialism.
Let’s face it, on the surface, socialism, and yes, even communism, sound good. Unfortunately, they forget to take into consideration the nature of human kind. These models have never worked. While some still exist, it should be clear to all, they have not achieved their goals and they never will.
To them it’s OK if the overall economy is worse, so long as “the rich no longer keep getting richer.”
There’s a great post over on the American Elephants about “spreading the wealth”:
